As part of the 11th Annual Asia Power and Energy Congress, Terrapinn brings you the inaugural Transmission & Distribution Asia 2008 that will gather transmission and distribution companies, electricity retailers, power generators, regulators, financiers, investors, legal firms, consultants and technology experts across Asia to discuss trends, strategies, business models and technology evolutions that will impact Asia's utility industry.


In a period of energy deregulation and the pressure to become more efficient, electricity transmission and distribution companies are being forced to re-evaluate the most efficient grid management strategies and how renewable energy can be incorporated into the grid for business survival and competitiveness.

With a large number of technology, industry, government and other groups working in and around the deregulation and modernization of electric grids across Asia to cater to an increasing demand for electricity, there is a need to bring these perspectives together and to create alignment of ideas to a common goal.
